"the ELE_MENT series of concert events began in august 1995 with (H): HYDROGEN, the first ele_ment. each subsequent event has been an attempt to create a positive atmosphere where electronic musicians can present their latest music, and where some of the ideas, processes, and personalities which hide behind the seeming facelessness of electronic music can be revealed.

each event has featured 3 live performances by established or new artists exploring their own personal realms within the wildly diverse music we call "electronic"; from the pounding beats of techno, house, and jungle, to the more abstract sounds of ambient, trip-hop, experimental, and even classical music.

now, 6 ele_ments (and a year and a half) later, we continue this effort with (N): NITROGEN, the 7th ele_ment concert event, featuring 4 live performers for the first time, followed by an all-night afterparty."
